Impaq
Impaq’s curriculum and subject combinations are aligned with the National Curriculum Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS)
Our packages cover all four phases namely:
Foundation Phase – Grade R to 3
Intermediate Phase – Grade 4 to 6
Senior Phase – Grade 7 to 9
Further Education and Training Phase (FET) – Grade 10 to 12
Foundation Phase
Grade R
Crestview Preschool’s unique Grade R program provides the building blocks to help every child develop their full potential.
Foundation Phase
Grades 1-3
In Grades 1 – 3, we help learners build the necessary foundation and skills needed to set up their education journey.
Intermediate Phase
Grade 4-6
Impaq’s CAPS-aligned lesson material introduces learners to new concepts and helps them build on what they have already learned.
Senior Phase
Grade 7-9
Impaq’s CAPS-aligned lesson material guides learners in the Senior Phase as they take on more responsibility when it comes to their education.
Further Education and Training Phase (FET)
Grade 9-12
Impaq’s CAPS-aligned lesson material prepares learners for the final NSC examination at the end of Grade 12. In the FET Phase, learners must complete seven subjects, of which four are compulsory, and three are electives. The four compulsory subjects in Grades 10 to 12 include:
- At least one Home Language (English or Afrikaans)
- Another language at either Home Language or First Additional Language level (English, Afrikaans or isiZulu)
- Life Orientation
- Mathematics OR Mathematical Literacy
